Irrespective of recession and economic slowdown, people will be interested to go for it because we are talking about a recession proof customer segment here. Definitely there would be some impulsive purchases due to some people’s intrinsic desire to know how gold iPhone is different from the normal iPhone. But again purchase will be from that premium class which is a very niche segment in the market. For a few dollars more!
